Compliance Analyst  

We are looking for a Compliance Analyst to join our expanding Risk, Compliance, and AML team. The successful candidate will support the Head of Compliance in managing and onboarding new and existing customers. The candidate will also assist in drafting and maintaining policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Practice (SOP) documents and actively promote a culture of best practices in process and general compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

    • Execute compliance reviews (first line) for new clients and new payees and periodic or ad hoc reviews for trading clients (from a regulatory compliance and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) point of view).  
    • Work together with the credit underwriting team in case of detected red flags.  
    • Conduct reviews of company policies, procedures, and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) to identify potential compliance risks and mitigate them accordingly.  
    • Investigate and resolve compliance-related issues, including conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions.  
    • Organise internal training for the multifi Members of Staff (compliance related).  
    • Be the first point of contact for compliance-related queries (internal and external).  
    • Execute the Compliance Monitoring program (together with the Head of Compliance).  
    • Analyze internal SAR (Suspicious Activity Report) reports and draft a solid recommendation for the MLRO (Money Laundering Reporting Officer).  
    • Stay up-to-date with emerging compliance issues, best practices, and industry standards.  

 

What do we ask from you? 

  • An eager-to-learn mentality; be curious, challenge and seek to improve.   
  • Minimum of 1-year working experience in a KYC (Know Your Customer) analyst or Compliance driven role.  
  • A good communicator – verbal and written communication.  
  • A self-starter mentality in combination with a “getting things done” mindset.  
  • Have an interest in technology and automating processes.   
  • Willingness to contribute to the review and improvement of policies and procedures  
  • General technical proficiency in Compliance and Microsoft systems (full training will be provided).
