Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer at our Farringdon office. The QA Automation Engineer will create and execute test cases, perform manual and automated testing, and maintain and improve test automation scripts. They will also work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the highest product quality.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance principles, practices, and methodologies

  • Experience in creating and executing test cases for functional, system, and regression testing

  • Experience in manual software testing

  • Understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)

  • Proficiency in QA Automation tools such as Selenium for Java with JBehave for BDD, and Playwright with JavaScript.

  • Experience in writing and maintaining Test Automation scripts

  • Good understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile, and ability to work collaboratively within an Agile development environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Relevant professional certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well with cross-functional teams

 

Knowledge of cloud computing and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Github actions is a plus, as well as experience with performance and security testing.
