Partnership Manager

We’re looking for an experienced and well-connected Partnership Manager to join our Commercial team, reporting directly to the CEO, helping us build, grow, and manage a portfolio of strategic partnerships across the fintech ecosystem. 

 

Key Responsibilities:  

Identify and Develop Strategic Partnerships: 

  • Source and evaluate new partnership opportunities across banking, payment providers, SaaS platforms, and other fintechs to drive growth and revenue. 

 

Relationship Management: 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key partners, ensuring high levels of engagement, satisfaction, and retention. 

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance to launch and integrate new partner solutions. 

 

Performance Tracking: 

  • Monitor partner KPIs, assess partnership health, and deliver regular performance reports with data-driven insights. 

 

Market Intelligence: 

  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor partnerships, and regulatory changes to inform partnership strategy. 

 

Broader responsibilities: 

  • Support relationship management with accountants, brokers, and business advisors who can refer SME clients 
  • Maintain partnerships with business organisations, chambers of commerce, and trade associations 
  • Support on integrations with banking partners and other fintech platforms 

 

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of experience in a partnerships, business development, or strategic account management role within fintech, financial services, or a tech-driven company. 
  • Strong understanding of the fintech landscape (e.g., payments, lending, embedded finance, open banking). 
  • Proven track record of negotiating and executing commercial deals. 
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse metrics and present insights clearly. 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities. 
  • Experience working with or understanding the SME lending/finance market  
  • Understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements for financial services partnerships  
  • Experience designing and managing partner commission/referral programs
